Hurricane Agnes also helped fill Lake Anna after the hydroelectric dam was built, pushing the completion of the project up almost a year ahead of schedule. It's really amazing how much rain fell during that hurricane! The Occoquan is a river I have loved for a long time, its amazing to see so much more information about it!
